Our Services | Information Technology Training

Since 2001, the St. Edward's University Professional Education Center has been developing technology education programs to meet the needs of the Austin and global IT community. Our experienced and professional staff continues to create new content and search for more efficient and successful ways to deliver training and technical consulting to our clients.

Instructor Led Classroom Training

Our classrooms are designed for comfort, learning and the technological demands of today's intensive business applications. All of the instructors at the P.E.C. are fully certified in their areas of training.

Our team will help you:

    Build the skills you need - Our instructors have depth and breadth knowledge on Microsoft, Java, Red Hat Linux, Cisco and Information Security technologies.

We provide customized training to focus concentrated knowledge on your most critical topics. Our team of subject matter and curriculum design experts will create time-efficient and cost-effective solutions to help you maximize your investment in information technology. We can also provide on-site training using our mobile notebook labs.

E-learning

Our e-learning courses can be used as standalone classes, or mapped with our instructor-led seminar courses as part of a blended learning solution. Use our e-learning capabilities to train your employees on office applications, technical topics and soft skills, or let us design a custom training program for you.

Distance Learning

This exciting new learning platform blends online classroom training, live discussion, real-world-based scenarios, and self-directed study into one rich and easy-to-use educational experience—delivered right to your desktop. Microsoft Official Distance Learning (MODL) courses use a proven instructional methodology that attracts professionals who want the interactivity of the classroom and the flexibility of an online course. MODL courses are offered directly through Springhouse, an authorized Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions, so you can be confident that you are being supported by a qualified organization that meets strict requirements to provide a valuable distance learning experience.

Microsoft Software Assurance

Redeem Your Software Assurance Vouchers at St. Edward's University P.E.C.!

The St. Edward's University Professional Education Center is a partner in Microsoft's Software Assurance Program, which includes providing vouchers for customers to use toward training. If you are a recipient of Microsoft Software Assurance vouchers, you can redeem one for any class listed below at a rate of one voucher per training day. Microsoft Vouchers can also be used in conjunction with P.E.C. vouchers. For instance, if you have three Microsoft Vouchers and you want to take a five-day P.E.C. Course, you pay just $425 for each day not covered by your voucher.
